Kamran Baloch is set to take charge as Executive Director World Bank, after Prime Minister Imran Khan approved the appointment on Thursday (today).
Kamran Baloch is serving as Secretary Finance and will take charge as Executive Director World Bank post approval from PM Imran Khan.
The PM has approved a summary to for the nomination of Naveed Kamran Baloch as next Pakistan’s Executive Director to World Bank from next month, said the statement issued by the government.
Naveed Kamran Baloch has been chosen to serve as Executive Director World Bank over Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Azam Khan.

The summary sent to PM House by Economic Affairs Division (EAD) included four names, Azam Khan, Naveed Kamran Baloch, Secretary Establishment Ijaz Munir, and former Governor State Bank (SBP) Tariq Bajwa.
Naveed Kamran Baloch will replace Shahid Tarar who has been serving as Executive Director World Bank.
