Federal Minister for Privatization Muhammad Mian Soomroo Wednesday, said that Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) is among the 19 entities to be privatized.
Expressing his views on the government’s privatization policies, Federal Minister for Privatization Muhammad Mian Soomroo has revealed that a total of 19 state owned entities will be privatized.
Soomro highlighted that Pakistan Steel Mills, Mari Gas Field and Convention Centre Islamabad, both of which are state owned enterprises will be privatized as part of government’s privatization initiative.
Furthermore, Services Hotel, SME Bank, PPL, Guddu Power Plant are also included in the entities that the government intends to privatize, he added.
Meanwhile, according to the federal minister, Roosevelt Hotel in New York – USA, will be given on lease.
He noted government has set a target of RS 100 billion revenue from privatization of these entities this year .
