Death toll in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) has risen to seven as Indian troops martyred three more Kashmiris in IOK on Saturday (today).
Indian forces conducted a ‘search and cordon’ operation in Zadoora area of Pulwama district in early hours of Saturday morning today.
During the operation all entry and exit points were sealed and no one was allowed to enter or exit the designated area.
Three Kashmiri are said to have been martyred by Indian forces in the operation, taking the total number of Kashmiri casualties to four since yesterday.
Meanwhile, an Indian soldier is also said to have been killed in an attack by Kashmiri separatists in the same area.
Prior to this four Kashmiris were martyred by Indian troops in Kiloora area of Shopian district of South Kashmir on Friday.
Earlier on August 11th, it was revealed that Indian forces had martyred three Kashmiris on the suspicion of being Pakistani nationals on July 18th.
The deceased Abrar Hujar, Imtiyaz Gujar and Abrar Khan were gunned down by Indian Army’s 62 Rashtriya Rifles in Keller Amshipora area of Shopian District.
The three individuals were later identified as local laborers who were working in the vicinity when targeted by Indian troops.
