The Pakistani film and drama star Mahira Khan – ‘paying rich salute to the real life heroes’ saluted their bravery and dedication on the World Humanitarian day.
Mahira Khan was named UNHCR goodwill ambassador for Pakistan, in November past year – She took to Instagram and uploaded a content of her discussing the efforts related to the refugee agencies, meanwhile she posted a video with the caption: “Today is the World Humanitarian day, and we are celebrating Humanitarians around the globe – who risk their lives every single day to save the lives of others”.

The Bin Roey actress further declared, “These are our #reallifeheroes, with Covid-19, 2020 is a genuinely exceptional year where Humanitarians, including UNHCR members and refugees themselves are arranging out of the ordinary things, to help save and upgrade the lives of people captured in extremity after extremity”.
Mahira Khan said loads of thanks, encouraged and saluted their valour and dedication.
She said: “We thank them with all heart. We salute them, their courage and diligence”.
Past year 2019, Mahira Khan has chosen as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees UNHCR – goodness Ambassador for Pakistan.
