Prime Minister Imran Khan, on Wednesday, said that Indian PM Narendra Modi committed a blunder by revoking the special status of Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, 2019.
Addressing the Azad Kashmir Assembly – Muzaffarabad, PM Imran Khan stated that Narendra Modi, led by his fascist right-wing Hindutva ideology committed a blunder by revoking Jammu and Kashmir’s special status on August 5 last year.
Narendra Modi committed a ‘strategic blunder’ and is trapped in a ‘blind alley’ with no options to go back, he said.
Furthermore, the premier revealed that he has constantly apprised world leaders including US President Donald Trump, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron and others of the grave situation in Kashmir.

“It is my firm belief that there is only one possible outcome of the current situation in kashmir, and that is its liberation Insha’Allah,” he added.
PM Imran Khan also announced to honor Kashmiri leader Syed Ali Geelani with the Nishan-e-Pakistan award for his services and undeterred commitment and resolve for the Kashmir cause over the years.
It is to be noted that Pakistan on Wednesday (today) is observing Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir’ to mark the first anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370 of the Indian constitution which effectively revoked Kashmir’s special autonomous status, and to express unconditional and undeterred solidarity with the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).
