Pakistan has won the toss and opted to bat first in the opening test match the three-match series against England on Wednesday (today).
Pakistan cricket team captain Azhar Ali won the toss and chose to bat first in the first test against England today.
Pakistan’s squad for the opening test match include Abid Ali, Shan Masood, Azhar Ali (c), Babar Azam, Asad Shafiq, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Shadab Khan, Yasir Shah, Mohammad Abbas, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah.
“We can’t control the weather but we are clear in our heads. We are going with two spinner and three pacers, with Shadab as an all-rounder,” said Pakistani skipper Azhar Ali.
Meanwhile England’s squad includes Dom Sibley, Rory Burns, Joe Root (c), Ben Stokes, Ollie Pope, Jos Buttler (wk), Chris Woakes, Dom Bess, Stuart Broad, Jofra Archer and James Anderson.
