Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is set to meet opposition leader and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif along with JUI-F leader Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman in Lahore today.
Prominent opposition parties and their leadership are set to meet in Lahore today with PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto expected to meet with PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman.
According to details PPP chairman is scheduled to meet Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman at 4 pm, followed by a visit to Jati Umra to meet the opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif at around 6 pm.
The development comes as earlier, Shehbaz Sharif held a joint press conference with JUI-F chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman announcing to call an All Parties Conference (APC) for the opposition parties after Eid-ul-Azha.
Opposition parties and leaders, especially the afore mentioned trio had been severely critical of Prime Minister Imran Khan led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) federal government and its economic policies and its failure to control inflation, sugar, petroleum and wheat shortage and price hikes.
