Prime Minister Imran Khan, on the occasion of Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Kashmir, lauded Kashmiris for their undeterred resolve and continued struggle against illegal Indian occupation.
The premier took to social media to pay tribute to the resolve and courage of Kashmiris who have stood their ground against Indian atrocities for the past 70 years.
“Generation after generation, laid down their lives for freedom and today they continue to valiantly fight & defy a Hindutva Supremacist regime bent on demographic engineering to wipe out the Kashmiri people & their identity,” he tweeted.
Furthermore, PM Imran Khan highlighted the significance of 13 July which is marked as Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Kashmir (Kashmir Martyrs’ Day) to commemorate the martyrdom of 22 Kashmiris who laid down their lives for revolting against Dogra rule on July 13 1931.

Moreover, PM reiterated Pakistan’s unconditional and unwavering support for the people of Kashmir stating that Pakistan will continue to support Kashmiri brethren until it is freed from illegal occupation.
