ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has been asked to not prepare Hajj agreement this year as the possibility of cancellation of Hajj increase amidst coronavirus spreading unabated.
Dr Saleh Bin Taher Benten, Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Hajj, wrote letter to Minister of Religious Affairs of Pakistan and said that there should not be Hajj agreement between the two countries until the coronavirus pandemic is contained.
Mr. Benten further said that KSA is taking precautionary measures to halt the virus and that Pakistan will be informed whatever decisions are made regarding Hajj.
