Balochistan government has announced its decision to promote matric, intermediate students due to COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
According to Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Chairman Professor Muhammad Yousuf Baloch, Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has approved the summary to promote matric and intermediate students without examinations.
However, Professor Muhammad Yousuf Baloch has certain cited legal issues pertaining to the promotion of students without examinations, needed to be worked out under education act.

The development comes as matric, intermediate examinations have not been held due to coronavirus outbreak and the students fear the loss of their academic year to these unprecedented circumstances.
Prior to this, governments of Punjab and Sindh had also announced to promote matric and intermediate students without examinations due to COVID-19 threat.
