KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has confirmed 864 new coronavirus cases in the province within last 24 hours.
In his regular update on the COVID-19 situation in the province, Murad Ali Shah told that 4679 tests for deadly coronavirus were conducted in the last 24 hours, out of which 864 came out positive taking the provincial tally to over 17,000 – while three more people lost their lives fighting novel coronavirus.
He further informed that Sindh’s coronavirus death toll has now risen to 280. Whereas, 280 patients had fully recovered from the diseases last day, raising the total number of recovered patients in the province to 4489.
Murad Ali Shah also informed that the condition of 136 patients is critical while 29 are on ventilators. He also appealed and stressed on the people to take necessary precautionary measures to stop the spread of coronavirus in province and follow SOPs.
