A 6.4 magnitude earthquake jolted several cities across Pakistan on late Friday night, reported Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
According to PMD, an earthquake measured at 6.4 on Richter scale hit several Pakistani cities at 10:02 PM on Friday night.
The earthquake was at a depth of 80 kilometers with its epicenter being in Murghab city Tajikistan, said PMD.
The areas affected by earthquake in Pakistan include Islamabad, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Mardan, North Waziristan, Swat, Multan, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Lahore, Killa Abdullah, Pishin, Toba Achakzai, Shangla, Buner, Malakand, Dir, Astore, Diamer, Hunza and Chitral.
A woman was killed in Khanpur, Haripur, whereas four others fell unconscious in Mardan and Dir. One injury was reported in Mansehra.
The earthquake was also felt in India including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
