50 employees of Ministry of Food security, on Thursday, have been diagnosed with COVID-19 coronavirus.
Ministry of Food Security has been shut down after 50 out of its 90 employees tested positive for the novel COVID-19 coronavirus.
“The employees have been asked to perform their necessary duties while staying at homes,” read the statement issued by Ministry of Food Security.

According to details, 16 employees had contracted the virus last week, while another 29 tested positive for the virus today, whereas an employee is reported to have died due to the novel disease.
It is to be noted that Pakistan, on Thursday reported 5,834 new COVID-19 cases and 101 deaths taking the total number of coronavirus cases and casualties in the country to 119,563 and 2,356 respectively.
