A 5.1 magnitude earthquake, on Tuesday, jolted Islamabad and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Areas that reported the 5.1 magnitude tremors include Islamabad and several of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) such as Swat, Mansehra, Malakand and Swabi and various other adjoining areas.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) the earthquake’s epicenter was at Tajikistan-Afghanistan border with a depth of 223 kilometers.
It is to be noted that this is the second earthquake felt in Pakistan today as earlier 5.7 magnitude tremors were reported in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Mardan, Buner, Malakand and Abbottabad.
No injuries, casualties or property damage has been reported as of now.
