Dr Moeed Yusuf – SAPM on National Security Division and Strategic Policy Planning, on Thursday, announced that 270 international flights are expected to land in Pakistan in the next five days.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Dr Moeed Yusuf revealed that the federal government has permitted all the national and international airlines to carry on their international flight operations and therefore 40,000 Pakistanis are expected to be repatriated via 270 international flights scheduled to land in Pakistan between June 26 and June 30.
Furthermore, Moeed Yusuf stated that the screening procedure for international bound flights from Pakistan will be initiated from June 27 (Saturday), according to which passengers will be checked for increased body temperatures and any other COVID-19 symptom.

In addition to it, passengers have been advised to only resort to international air travel if they are healthy, do register any symptoms and are not affected by any viral illnesses, for it might prove to be a hurdle in gaining access to foreign countries who have imposed strict guidelines, SOPs and preventive measures to curb the virus spread.
