Nineteen people are reported to have been killed as Lahore bound Shah Hussain Express collided with a passenger bus carrying Sikh pilgrims.
As per the details, Shah Hussain Express, which was travelling to Lahore from Karachi, rammed into a passenger bus carrying Sikh pilgrims at a railway crossing located on Farooqabad’s Jatri Road, Sheikhupura.
According to Pakistan Railway officials, the incident occurred at the unmanned/unattended railway crossing between Farooqabad and Bahali railway station.
Rescue teams have been dispatched to attend the injured.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed grief over the loss of lives, and have instructed authorities to provide best possible medical care and services to the injured.
