Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, on Saturday, announced that 1,247 new coronavirus cases have been reported in the province in the last 24 hours.
In a statement, CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah stated that 5,481 coronavirus tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, of which 1,247 came back positive taking the provincial tally to 26,113 cases.
Furthermore, he also revealed that 38 COVID-19 casualties were reported in the province during the last 24 hours, whereas 522 patients were reported to have been recovered from the novel virus, taking the total number of recovered patients in the province to 13,272.
Around 310 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, meanwhile 68 are on ventilators, he added.
CM Sindh has urged the public to abide by social distancing measures and adhere to preventive guidelines recommended by the government to curb the virus spread.
